Our Story

Hello, and thank you for considering Altruistic Solutions Homecare for your homecare needs. My name is Derek Fraser, and I’m proud to serve as a Managing Partner and Chief Operating Officer of Altruistic Solutions Homecare - Scottsdale, AZ. With over a decade of experience as a licensed nursing assistant and emergency department technician, I’ve dedicated my career to providing compassionate, high-quality care. My journey has taken me through hospital and long-term care settings, working with patients in all stages of health—from critical care to long-term management, and even hospice and end-of-life care.

These experiences have given me a deep understanding of the challenges individuals and families face when navigating healthcare. They’ve also shaped my unwavering passion for improving lives through personalized, meaningful care.

In addition to my hands-on experience, I hold a degree in Public Health Management. This education has broadened my perspective on healthcare systems, management practices, and the importance of patient-centered care. I firmly believe that true health and wellness go beyond clinical treatments—they encompass emotional, mental, and social well-being.

After years of working at the bedside, I noticed that many large healthcare organizations struggle to provide the personalized, attentive care that patients deserve. Too often, care feels impersonal, and there’s a disconnect between patients and providers. That’s what drew me to Altruistic Solutions Homecare—a company dedicated to bridging that gap. Here, I have the privilege of working alongside a team that shares my vision for compassionate care delivered with a personal touch.
